The results of this study suggest that gamma-oryzanol helps in inhibiting high Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) levels in primary hypothyroidism patients by its direct action at the hypothalamus (a region in the brain) rather than on (pituitary) gland secreting TSH.
